Volunteers from NMVFO teamed up with the Commonweal Conservancy to remove barb-wire fencing on the ~10k acre Preserve south of Santa Fe.

Ten volunteers from NMVFO joined volunteers with the Upper Pecos Watershed Association for an Earth Day litter cleanup along the Pecos River, part of a larger one-day effort spanning between Mora NM down to Pecos TX. Our crew worked on user trails in the Rainy Day and Dalton Creek fishing areas.

At Rainy we came upon the remains of an old sluice way, which might be remains of an old mill.
