On Thursday the New Mexico Rio Grande Trail Commission held a Happy Hour at Box Canyon Brewery in Socorro, where I learned about progress on developing the trail.
The Commission had gone dormant for a couple of years, but now is active and adopting trail sections and designating alignments.
The Commission had a meeting on Friday, at the Socorro City Council Chambers, where the newly-formed Rio Grande Trail Association non-profit gave a presentation of their progress in getting started.
On Saturday the Save Our Bosque Task Force SOBTF had their monthly Saturday Cleanup, along the newly-adopted Socorro section of the Rio Grande Trail.
