Porvenir Canyon Trail 2021

NMVFO returned this year for a one-day project on Porvenir Trail along Beaver Creek, surrounded by picturesque cliffs.

My team hiked up about 5 miles to the junction with Hollinger Trail, and cleared 15 blowdowns and lopped on the way back, meeting the lower team.

We were surprised to see how much brush had grown since our car-camp project last year. Still, we managed to lop a few miles of trail

Thanks to all the volunteers led by Mike, with Kevin, Dan, Kevin M, Paul, Lee and Anissa, Wendy and Joy, Camilla, and Crystal, making this a rewarding National Trails Day.
