NMVFO joined staff from Albuquerque Open Space to continue building new trail on an as-yet-unnamed route in the Juan Tomas Open Space east of Albuquerque, south of Tijeras.
We were constructing trail through Gambel oak, and much of the day seemed to be devoted to digging out roots and stumps.
It was great working with old friends and new– leader Jenny, Larry, Ed, Mike M, Laura, Susanna, Kris and Max, with Kyle and Jonathan from ABQ Open Space.
