Six NMVFO volunteers backpacked in to the West Fork Trail from Santa Barbara Campground in the Carson National Forest, and cleared about 60 blowdowns Friday and Saturday.
Saturday evening we joined the car-camp NMVFO group at Santa Barbara Campground for dinner.
Sunday the volunteers constructed a crossing structure over a muddy area on the Middle Fork trail that was enbiggened by cattle.
We also planted a sign announcing our adoption of the trail.
Good people, good work, good trip.
