Mike C. and Marty from the Socorro BLM office invited me along to walk the proposed multi-use Landavaso Trail 3.5 mile loop just north of Hwy 60 and the Magdalena airport.

The area is rolling grassy hills with juniper and piƱon (mostly juniper), small scattered surface rocks, surrounded by views of several distant peaks and mountain ranges.

BLM is organizing a trail building session on National Public Lands Day, September 23, 2023, and is hoping for a large group of local volunteers to help out.

Come join us, no advance registration required.
HI! I am so happy that I learned of this event in time to participate!
Will there be signs to direct me to the trail? I am unfamiliar with the trails & am not sure where to go.
Looking forward to being there!
Oops, saw this comment too late.
Yes, signs were put up, hope everyone found it OK.
